Staff recruitment and retention will be among the issues discussed at next month’s Future of Care Conference in Leeds.
The conference, which takes place on 15 October at the Hilton Hotel, will be chaired by ITV news presenter Sameena Ali-Khan.
Panellists for the ‘Workforce Shortages in the Care Home Sector’ discussion include representatives from Skills for Care, North Yorkshire County Council, The Health Foundation and the Institute for Public Policy Research.
Panellists for a second debate on how technology is driving change in the care sector include experienced leaders from care home groups such as Belmont Healthcare Group, Knights Care and Larchwood Care.
Minister of State for Care, Caroline Dinenage MP, will be delivering a keynote speech expected to touch upon the Governments’ priorities for the future of adult care.
In addition to the panel debates the day will feature a full programme of high quality speakers who are thought-leaders in the sector. They’ll be sharing their knowledge and strategies to help care home owners and managers deliver a better service for their clients, and their staff.
The conference is supported by Platinum Sponsor BlueLeaf and Gold Sponsors Quality Assurance Systems and Care Roadshows.
