RMBI, the care arm of the Freemasons society, has appointed Karen Salley as care operations director, replacing Kevin Harris, who has moved to become development director for the operator.
Ms Salley bring more than 30 years healthcare experience to RMBI.
She was previously head of operations for disability charity Leonard Cheshire Disability and prior to this she worked in GP practice management as well as in senior clinical management in the NHS.
In her new role, Ms Salley will be responsible for delivering care across the estate. “Over the coming months, my focus will be to provide the highest possible quality of care delivered to a consistently high standard. I will be working with the Care Operations Team to ensure care provision at the RMBI is not only person-centred but also fully compliant with all the regulatory requirements,” she says.
“I am delighted to join one of the country’s leading charities; with an outstanding reputation for providing care and support for Freemasons, their families and many more in the community. I look forward to the challenges this new role will bring,” she adds.
