Free entry to Care Showcase Brighton for local care workers


Care Showcase Brighton 2020 will be inviting local care workers to attend the business and educational event for free on Wednesday March 25 at Brighton Racecourse.

Health and social care professionals from Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton and Hove can apply for a free tickets.

Guest speakers will include Debbie Ivanova from the Care Quality Commission, Keith Hinkley from the Association of Directors of Adult Social Service (ADASS), Vic Rayner from the National Care Forum and Keith Strahan from NHS Digital.

The theme for this year’s Care Showcase Brighton is ‘Inspire and Innovate’.

Erica Lockhart, chief executive of Surrey Care Association and Showcase organiser, said: “Understanding the impact of integrating health and social care, and how that can benefit service users, is a key priority if we are to ensure a sustainable long-term future for the health and care sector.

“Our Showcase seminars and networking opportunities will help keep care providers abreast of developments and enable them to make the most of the opportunities presented by the integration agenda.”
