Malcolm Ross (pictured) has been appointed non-executive director of Hallmark Care Homes.

Malcolm, who worked for 10 years as vice president of operations at Disney’s Paris and Orlando resorts, will support customer service and care provision at Hallmark’s 15 facilities and help meet its goals of consistency, continuous improvement and sustained commercial success.

He said: “Since I have joined the company, I have been greatly impressed by the culture and passion of the business and I have witnessed high-quality, relationship-centred care being given to our residents in the homes I have visited.

“I am both highly motivated and inspired to help deliver excellence across all of our homes and I know I have made the right decision in joining the Hallmark Care Homes family.”

Malcolm has spent 45 years in the hospitality, entertainment and leisure sectors.

“He has a background of working in luxury hotels and the famous Disney ventures in Paris and Orlando, so offers us a wide range of customer service experience to draw from.”
