Former CEO of UK charity Action on Elder Abuse Gary Fitzgerald has joined care home safety monitoring group, Care Campaign for the Vulnerable.
Gary (pictured), who was also the founder and Trustee of elderly loneliness charity, Silverline, has joined the group’s Expert In Care team.
“I am honoured to become a member of the Care Campaign for the Vulnerable Expert in Care Team,” Gary said.
“They do a fantastic job in supporting older people and raising much awareness in the safety of our most vulnerable. I look forward to helping them in their valuable work. Because older people deserve better.”
Care Campaign for the Vulnerable team director, Jayne Connery, said: “Gary’s knowledge, expertise and passion on elderly care is without doubt an incredible boost to the important work we do at Care Campaign for the Vulnerable in raising national awareness of safer elder care, particularly for our elderly people living with dementia .
