Elderly Care Crisis: A Care Tipping Point

The year in which the UK’s ageing population will no longer be able to access or afford acceptable levels of care will be revealed this month.

Irwin Mitchell Solicitors will reveal the findings of its new research conducted in partnership with the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr) at an exclusive event in Holborn, London on Wednesday, February 26 between 10am and 12am.

Senior Economist from Cebr, Josie Dent, and Irwin Mitchell’s panel of experts will share their findings and put forward their recommendations on how the Government, local authorities and individuals can help ease, if not avoid, the impending social care crisis.

The experts will examine a number of key contributing factors that will compound the elderly care crisis and push it to ‘tipping point’.

Guests will also be invited to join an interactive panel discussion centring around the most poignant elements of the report, chaired by leading UK pensions expert and political campaigner Ros Altmann.
