Brokerage professionals NGA Care have completed the sale of Nightingale Care Home in Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire.
The 49-bed, all en-suite, purpose-built care home was sold on behalf of Midland Healthcare Limited to Jasmine Healthcare Limited.
NGA Care managing director, Nick Greaves, who handled the sale, said: “We were trusted to undertake the sale of the business ahead of many other brokers, as our client valued my experience, our extensive network of funded buyers and client focused personal service.”
Mr Duke, chairman of Midland Healthcare Limited, added: “Selling a business is always fraught. Selling a nursing home business has additional multiple layers of complexity. NGA Care have been supporting us through every step of the way in this sale. Nick has been instrumental in getting the deal across the line. If you are looking to sell your care home, I highly recommend the services of NGA Care.”
The acquisition of the business brought the Jasmine Healthcare portfolio to six care homes in the East Midlands.
Jasmine Healthcare managing director, Chris Clark, said: “I am really pleased with the smoothness and speed of this acquisition, even with an unannounced CQC inspection at the home the day before exchange of contracts!
“Jasmine’s plan is to completely refurbish Nightingale Care Home, invest in training the staff team, and embed the Jasmine Values into the team, to ensure that the home provides the same outstanding care as Jasmine’s other five homes as soon as possible.”
Nelsons Solicitors acted on behalf of Midland Healthcare and Wilkin Chapman acted on behalf of Jasmine Healthcare.
