Detergent manufacturer aims to be care homes No:1


Detergent manufacturer RP Adam Ltd (Arpal Group) is targeting the UK care home sector growth with a £2.75m investment.

The business has unveiled ambitious plans to increase annual production by 50% to meet rising demand.

Arpal Group’s Sales & Marketing Director Max Adam said: “Our residential care sector business is booming and it is Arpal Group’s stated intention to be the UK’s number one care home cleaning products provider by 2020.

Our market leading chemicals concentrates, kitchen hygiene and professional laundry ranges, together with our outstanding field service package, provides independent and multi-site operators with an unrivalled site service offering.

“This next investment phase will allow us to increase our resources, production capacities and level of service commitment in this fast-growing sector to an even higher level – backed by strong values of integrity and trust which underpin everything we do.”

Arpal Group serves more than 1,000 care homes across the country with annual sales in the sector of almost £2.5m, representing 23% of total UK sales and a growth of more than 50% in the last three years. The company is planning to double turnover by the summer of 2018.

Arpal’s next investment phase will focus on factory and warehouse expansion, filling equipment, customer support systems and extra manpower geared to expanding market share in this fast growing and demanding sector.
