Country Court Care has finalised the acquisition of three care homes from Lincolnshire housing association LACE Housing.
Eccleshare Court near Hartsholme Country Park in Lincoln, Ruckland Court in north Lincoln and Neale Court in North Hykeham are now owned and managed by Country Court Care.
“We’re very pleased to have secured the future of our three care homes, protecting 160 jobs and safeguarding the care of our residents,” said Nick Chambers, chief executive of LACE Housing. “This transfer means that residents will continue to receive the highest standard of care from staff they know in surroundings that remain familiar to them.”
Alykhan Kachra, managing director of Country Court Care, added: “We have more than 30 years’ experience in the care sector and we share similar values and aspirations as LACE Housing. Our strategy means we are committed to continued investment in the care sector and Country Court Care is already a major employer in Lincolnshire, employing over 700 staff and owning 16 other care homes with a total of over 700 beds.”
Kachra told Care Home Professional in November that it aimed to double its estate to 1500 beds in the coming years, with a strategy to target more affluent residents paying for premium care and service.
“All three of these care homes will receive significant investment to ensure that existing and future residents experience the very best care and accommodation. Our success is based on our philosophy of putting residents and families at the heart of everything we do,” Kachra said.
