Country Court Care Group has announced its acquisition of Somerset Nursing Home in Wheldrake, York.
The 43-bed home is currently part of locally based care provider Roche Healthcare.
Alykhan Kachra, Managing Director of Country Court Care Group, said: “We are extremely thrilled to have acquired Somerset Nursing Home from Roche Healthcare, a company whose family values fitted very closely with our own.
“I would like to extend our new residents and staff a very warm welcome to the Country Court Care family. We are all looking forward immensely to working with them, to ensure we continue to provide the high level of family led care our service users are accustomed too.”
Patrick Roche, Director of Roche Healthcare Ltd, added: “I would like to thank all the staff at Somerset for their hard work and dedication. I am very proud of the quality care provided and I am confident that Country Court Care will maintain this. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank residents and families for the support they have given to the manager and her team over the years.”
Country Court Care delivers award winning care through its care homes, which are located across the UK. The group has grown from 200 beds to 1,300 beds in just under eight years, and the latest addition of Somerset Nursing Home will form an integral part of Country Court Care’s Yorkshire hub of care facilities, joining two Country Court Care Homes in Sheffield. The acquisition takes the group’s number of care facilities to 30.
