Church Farm Care completes first phase of £700,000 renovation works

Inside Field House

Church Farm Care has announced the completion of the first phase of £700,000 renovation works at Field House in Radcliffe on Trent, Nottinghamshire.

The works, which began in January 2017, have introduced new en-suite facilities, furniture and carpets, a second communal kitchen area and dining room, and a new visitor entrance.

Patrick Atkinson, director of Church Farm Care, said: “Across all four of our homes we aim to provide the best possible care and ensure we bring out the best in both the staff and the people living with us. To achieve this, we believe it is important to provide first-class facilities that make residents feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

“The renovation works will provide new vibrant and modern open spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy.”

Church Farm Care hopes to introduce new lounge and laundry facilities once the renovation is completed later this year.

Field House has retained Nottinghamshire County Council’s highest possible Band 5 inspection rating for several years.

Church Farm Care took ownership of Field House, which provides specialist care for people with palliative nursing needs, in September 2016. Its other homes include Skylarks in West Bridgford, Church Farm in Cotgrave and Rusticus in Cotgrave.
