St Mary’s residential care home in New Buckenham, Norwich has been sold through specialist business property adviser Christie & Co.

The 29-bed home was bought by Siva & Shanthi Rajendra, whose family already owns other care homes.

The home, which has been providing dementia and old aged care since it was previously acquired in 2004, was sold due to its owners commitments as a professor in London.

It was sold through specialist property advisor Christie & Co.

The home was last inspected under the CQC’s previous regime in August 2013 where it met standards on respecting and involving people who use services, care and welfare of people who use services, management of medicines, supporting workers and assessing and monitoring the quality of service provision.
