Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co is seeking investors for a new hotel and care home development in Kent.

The scheme proposes building a 60 bedroom residential care home along with 60 close care apartments and a 100 bed hotel with leisure and conference facilities in Syndale Park, Faversham.

Andrew Moore of Christie & Co’s Maidstone office said: “The availability of sites such as this for new-build hotels and care homes is rare, particularly in Kent and the South East.

“Faversham is an ideal location for these amenities due to its excellent transport links and its desirability as both a residential and tourist destination.

“This therefore provides an excellent opportunity for either a developer or operator to cater for the demand for care facilities in the region, as well as catering for new and regular visitors to the area.”

The proposal includes the demolition of a hotel and other buildings currently on the site.

Offers are invited for the freehold interest in the site. Further information about previous planning applications can be found on the Swale Borough Council planning website where two previous applications can be viewed under the references SW/07/1267 and SW/08/0494.
