Experts from leading care home groups came together to discuss what the future of dementia care will look like at a CHP roundtable sponsored by Blueleaf.
The Future of Dementia Care Roundtable took place at The Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard in London.
The expert panel, which was chaired by CHP editor, Lee Peart, included: Mala Agarwal, MD, Athena Care Homes; Liz Wardell, head of dementia, Signature Senior Lifestyle; Sanjeev Kanoria, chairman, Advinia Healthcare; Joyce Clutton, senior interior designer, Blueleaf; and
Tony Stein, CEO, Healthcare Management Solutions.
During the discussion, the panel looked at how dementia care may involve over the coming decades, focusing on the areas of design and the environment, technology and innovation, care models, workforce and funding.
