Central region draws another blank for Outstanding care in latest CQC inspections

The final week of March saw the Care Quality Commission release an additional 73 inspection reports for adult social care services in the Central region.

Once again, there was not a single outstanding provider.

The list of 73 included 55 care homes and homecare agencies rated as Good, 17 rated as Requires Improvement and one rated as Inadequate.

  1. The virtually unobtainable classification of Outstanding needs an urgent review by the CQC.
As it stands it is letting the public down as it is not something they can use to help them choose a provider.
