The Care Software Providers Association (CASPA) has appointed Fiona Hale, Managing Director of CoolCare, and Wendy Kendall, Sales and Marketing Director of Legrand Assisted Living and Healthcare, to its Executive Board.
The appointments will enable CASPA to broaden the services and activities it offers its members as it continues to champion the promotion of digital technologies within the social care sector.
With her passion for social care, Fiona (pictured left) brings significant experience of running a social care SME. Fiona also has expertise as a strategic communications professional with a grounding in public affairs, lobbying and trade associations. These skills will help to broaden the expertise within the current board as CASPA expands its breadth of activities.
Wendy (pictured right) has been involved with Technology Enabled Services (TEC) for many years. She brings extensive commercial experience in assistive technologies, telecare, telehealth, telemedicine and smart home applications and experience representing the supply sector as a Non-Executive Director for TECS Services Association (TSA).
CASPA is a UK based independent, not-for-profit association focused on maximising the use of digital technology to improve the quality of care in social care and has been instrumental in showcasing electronic transfer of care information between social care and the NHS. CASPA strives to implement legislation and regulatory guidelines within the industry where such standards do not currently exist.
Membership is available to companies involved in the provision of software to the care sector. Members of CASPA benefit from having a central point of contact on issues facing the industry, and the association will represent members when bringing suggestions to the government and other industry bodies.
