Caring Homes has officially marked the opening of Broadbridge Park in Horsham, Surrey.
Managing Director Tracey Fletcher Ray unveiled a plaque to mark the opening of the home along with Home Manager Francesca Keating. Broadbridge Park’s first resident Ron Andrews helped to cut an official opening ribbon.
Francesca said: “It was wonderful to officially open Broadbridge Park which has now been home to residents since the beginning of September. We are part of the Broadbridge Heath and Horsham community so it was lovely to invite in neighbours and others who we will be working with to provide the best quality care for our residents.”
To mark the opening of the home a £1,000 cheque was presented to Christian charity, Horsham Matters, which supports those in hardship through providing essential services such as food, fuel and shelter.
Francesca added: “To celebrate the opening and Christmas at the same time was a lot of fun and to be able to make a charity donation was a lovely way to mark the event and the season of goodwill.”
Broadbridge Park is one of the latest additions to the Caring Homes family, which now comprises 64 homes nationally. Caring Homes is celebrating 25 years in the care home industry this year after starting out with just one care home in 1994. Broadbridge Park has been shortlisted for a Pinders’ Healthcare Design Award 2020 as part of Chantry Court Care Village in the Best Care Village category.
