Caring Homes has completed the topping out ceremony for a luxury property in Ware, Hertfordshire.
Deputy Mayor of Ware Cllr Mick Standley helped complete the building milestone at Riverside Place, along with Caring Homes Founding Director Helena Jeffery, Architect John Bell, representatives from building contractors Dalton Homes and other Caring Homes colleagues.
Cllr Standley, who is also chairman of the Ware Town Council Planning Committee, said: “The design is impressive and I really like the roof slope, a flat roof is one of the things we particularly don’t like.
“Ware is a wonderful town and Riverside Place is in a good location for a care home here, we wish Caring Homes every success.”
The four-storey, 72-bed residential, nursing and dementia home is due to open in 2018.
Design features include a large glazed entrance, irregular roof line and balconies to provide additional external space for residents, as well as a top floor orangery and function suite with river and countryside views.
Facilities will include a bistro area, private dining room, cinema, hair salon, quiet lounges and activity rooms.
