Heath and social care training solutions provider CareShield has strengthened its global strategic partnerships following a visit from a Chinese delegation to its base in China.
The visit by the China Planning Institute on Ageing came after the partners signed a Memorandum of Understanding last year.
Christian Greenshaw, CareShield’s CEO said: “Our belief that everyone deserves exceptional care knows no boundaries. The UK and China face many similar demographic challenges that are placing increasing strain on the provision of services, so if we can help in any way – through our spirit of collaboration – we will.
“We are passionate about improving the lives of everyone receiving health and care services. And our Chinese visitors are here to see how best practice care services are delivered in the UK – and how our expert training programmes underpin improvements in the quality and excellence of care provision.”
The findings from the visit, which was also attended by Stevenage MP McPartland, will be used to support the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs ‘Healthy China’ five-year plan.
Mr McPartland commented: “I’m proud we have this expertise here in Stevenage. CareShield obviously has the expertise to help improve key public health parameters to ageing populations more efficiently.
“The company are obviously taking steps to become a global leader in this sector and I think it’s fantastic that a key outcome of this collaboration will be that more people will be treated with dignity and respect in their old age.”
