Care UK’s Trymview Hall is declared open by the Bristol Bears’ Mascot Brizzley Bear

Care UK has begun a new spate of care home launches following the opening of its first Bristol service last week.

Trymview Hall is the first of five care homes to be opened by Care UK this spring. Further opening ceremonies will be held in Ashford, Kent, Hythe near Southampton, Chester and Bracknell between now and April.

The launch of Trymview Hall was attended by residents, team members and the local community, as well as the mascot of the local rugby team and children from the neighbouring Manor House Nursery.

Home manager Pamela Arnsmeyer said: “Our grand launch party was a wonderful success and the perfect way to mark such an important moment for Trymview Hall. The local schools, businesses and neighbours have been so warm and welcoming; we feel like we are already part of the community.

“We were delighted to have such honourable guests among us, and it was fantastic to see residents, team members, friends, family and locals all joining in the fun. It was truly a day to remember.”

Trymview provides full-time residential and dementia care for up to  66 local people and has been designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence. The care home will incorporate space for hobby and leisure activities and will include its own cinema, hairdressing salon and café.
