Registration for this year’s Care Roadshows is now open ahead of the first outing at Glasgow’s Hampden Park Stadium on the 19th April.
The show will then move to:

- Care Roadshow Birmingham: 5 July 2016, Villa Park Stadium
- Care Roadshow Cardiff: 18 October 2016, Cardiff City Stadium
- Care Roadshow London: 15 November 2016, Epsom Downs Racecourse
Exhibitors in Glasgow include Advanced Health & Care, Boots, Citation and Stannah, along with headline sponsor Quality Compliance Systems, which will offer advice on meting care home compliance regulations.
The conference element of the roadshow will welcome Scottish Care chief executive Donald Macaskill, whose presentation, ‘Rights in Care’ will look at human rights issues that affect care providers.
Ed Watkins from QCS will be looking at how the National Care Standards review is likely to change inspection methodology in Scotland this year in his seminar ‘The Outstanding Journey’.
Wendy Perry from the Dementia Service Development Centre will address how carers can begin to understand distressed behaviour which will bring about a better understanding of and ability to respond to the needs of the individual.
And Rami Okasha, director of strategic development at Care Inspectorate will be speaking about the new National Care Standards and how they can help support high quality care provision.
