Care Protect has expanded its commercial team with the appointment of Ben Wilson as national business development manager.
The company specialises in surveillance systems for care homes, which are monitored off-site by a team of experienced independent security experts.
Wilson brings experience from the customer side, having joined Care Protect from Lifeways Community Care and previously worked for Priory Group. He plans to grow the company’s business into new areas including learning disability and mental health care operators.
“The company is very attractive to new members of staff, and has shown great innovation in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults. I am excited to be a part of this, and look forward to further growing the company’s portfolio of services and solutions,” said Wilson.
Philip Scott, founder of Care Protect, added: “Ben is a key appointment as Care Protect aims to move into more diverse areas of health and social care. The principal of independent surveillance and camera monitoring fits across many care environments and Ben’s remit will be to introduce our safeguarding solution to new markets.”
