A new residential floor at Gracewell of Sutton has been officially launched with a VIP party.
VIP guests, the Mayor and Mayoress of Sutton, Councillor Muhammad Sadiq and Mrs Aasia Sadiq, carried out the formal ribbon cutting at the home on Westmead Road.
Sue Martin, Home Admissions Advisor at Gracewell of Sutton, said: “This was a wonderful way to celebrate the opening of our beautiful new residential floor. We’d like to thank all who came along to show their support and we look forward to seeing residents enjoying the facilities on offer.”
Guests, including representatives from a range of local businesses, went along to show their support and enjoyed live music, glasses of fizz and canapes whilst touring the new facilities and show suites. Guests mingled on the floor’s new rooftop terrace, whilst enjoying the weather – something Gracewell now hopes its residents will benefit from.
Gracewell’s Resident Ambassador, Ron Hill, who joined the celebrations, said the event was “very well organised, very good. As usual, we laid on a very good spread and I was delighted to be part of it”.
Gracewll of Sutton is a nursing home providing care for up to 83 older people. The home is rated Good by the CQC.
