One of the homes, Beech Lodge, was recently rated Inadequate by the CQC following an inspection in June.

An SHC spokesperson said: “With the assistance of colleagues in commissioning authorities all residents have been transferred to new placements within the agreed timeframe.

“This has been a challenging time for all involved and we wish to thank everyone who has worked so hard to ensure that these transfers happened in as seamless way as was possible. We wish all the people we supported and their families well as they settle into their new homes.

“Throughout this difficult time our staff have worked tirelessly to support people, most staff had the option of transferring to other services within the company, which some did while others took the opportunity to pursue other avenues.  Again, we wish them all the very best for the future.”
