Benridge Care Group is supporting its local community during the coronavirus crisis by donating food to the most needy.
The Southport based care home operator has partnered with food supplier, onCore Food Service Solutions to donate vital food supplies to the Salvation Army.
Benridge Registered Manager Lisa Connolly said: “OnCore has agreed to reduce their pricing to us, at cost, so that we are able to provide further supplies to them. The Food Bank has been set up by the Salvation Army in Walton, Liverpool.
“They work closely with Social Services, in order to ensure that the food is distributed to those in need.”
Anyone interested in making a cash donation to the food bank should contact Graham Turner at graham.turner@salvationarmy.org.uk
Food donations can be made by contacting Lin Herbert at the Salvation Army on lin.herbert@salvationarmy.org.uk
