J Gardam I

Jonathan Gardam has been appointed Senior Policy Officer of Care England, the largest representative body for independent care providers.

Jonathan joined Care England in May and has been concentrating on a funding matrix for local authorities across the country.  The General Election and forthcoming Green Paper on social care will be key parts of his work stream.

Ann Mackay MBE, Director of Policy at Care England, said: “Jonathan’s experience at ADASS and various local authorities provides a great insight into the challenges and opportunities facing providers particularly when stakes and expectations are so high.  His brief will focus on funding and costs; key issues for our members.”
