Sandra Roche has been appointed manager of Canford Healthcare’s Hampton Care Home in Hampton, Middlesex.
Sandra brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the role with an MSc in Social Policy and Social Work Studies as well as a Diploma in Social Work.
Operations Manager, Caron Sanders-Crook, said: “We are delighted to welcome Sandra as the new manager of Hampton Care Home. We believe that her knowledge, skills and experience, especially in relation to dementia, together with her energy, drive and determination to build a strong, united team will help establish Hampton as an outstanding provider of residential, nursing and dementia care.”
Previously, Sandra held a wide variety of roles within health and social care that have brought her into contact with people affected by dementia. She has been a field social worker and, as registered manager, led a residential care facility to a CQC Excellent rating, the previous equivalent to CQC Outstanding.
Sandra’s CV also includes being Sutton Council’s Head of Provider Services where she oversaw four care homes, three day centres and home care services.
At Hampton, Sandra’s main priorities are to create a happy environment where residents feel genuinely at home, as well as support colleagues to develop their skills and be genuinely inspired by their work. She’s determined, too, that Hampton will achieve a CQC Outstanding rating – in all five categories.
