Specialist business property advisor Christie & Co is seeking a buyer for the former Sister Dora nursing home in Milford.
The buyer of the 38-bed care home, which closed at the end of 2016, will be a care home provider or party seeking to put the building to other use, subject to planning permission.
Paul Reilly, associate director in Christie & Co’s Birmingham office who is handling the sale, said: “The building is well located and sits in approximately 1.5 acres of land so would be ideal for an experienced care operator who is looking to expand their portfolio or alternatively given its location on the edge of the Chase it could be converted to a Bed & Breakfast for walkers or residential use subject to planning.”
Situated on the edge of Cannock Chase and within close proximity to Stafford town centre, Christie & Co said the 1920s detached home presents an excellent opportunity for local and regional business operators.
The home was rated ‘requires improvement’ by the CQC on its last inspection in December 2015.
