“In tackling PPE, Rashid has demonstrated the core values of Anchor Hanover, he has been accountable, respectful, courageous and honest.”

Rashid worked closely with PPE suppliers to ensure that Anchor Hanover had, and continues to have, a full stock of PPE. He also assisted with the Anchor Hanover’s internal distribution system and liaised closely with all parties to ensure that PPE supplies were directed to where they were needed.

Rashid said: “It was a lovely surprise and really nice to be recognised but even better is knowing that our colleagues on the frontline don’t have to worry about having what they need to keep them safe.

“It’s been challenging at times, I’ve felt that we as a team have done really well making sure everyone has what they need, that to me is the most important thing.”
