A Bury care home is now COVID-free after eight residents died with the virus last month.
Burrswood Care Home in Bury is, Greater Manchester is run by Advinia Healthcare.
An Advinia spokesperson said: “We regret to advise that during the month of June eight residents from Burrswood Care Home passed away after testing positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of each resident following their loss.
“Like many care homes across the country Burrswood was impacted by the global pandemic, but we are pleased to confirm that the home is now COVID-free.
“We continue to implement strict infection control protocols at the home and employ the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
“Once again, we wish to send our condolences to the families who have lost a loved one during this time.”
A major incident was declared this week in Greater Manchester, which is one of the areas in northern England subject to lockdown measures following a rise in coronavirus rates.
The lockdown also covers East Lancashire and parts of West Yorkshire.
