A new Bupa care home is set to open in Scunthorpe within the next month.
Sandhills Court will offer residential and dementia care across 77 beds and eight separate self-contained flats. It will include a multi-purpose activities room, beauty salon, cinema, café and landscaped gardens.
Karl Dawson, Regional Director for North England, Bupa Care Services, told CHP: “We’re looking forward to welcoming residents and our new team into our new Sandhills Court care home in Scunthorpe.”
Bupa confirmed its ongoing commitment to the care sector following the completion of its sale of 110 homes to HC-One in December (see Bupa transfers 110 care homes to HC-One).
New care homes are to follow in the coming weeks in Leeds, Haywards Heath and Pebble Mill and Bupa has plans to build further Richmond Villages.
Bupa currently provides quality residential, nursing and dementia care across approximately 160 homes and seven Richmond Villages in the UK.
