Bluebird Care has become the latest operator to launch the everyLIFE Technologies openPASS app.
The app, which was developed by everyLIFE this year, enables residents’ up to date care records to be viewed in real time in their home or remotely.
Norman Murphy, owner and managing director of Bluebird Care, told the Hampshire Chronicle: “We are proud to be leading the way in the social care industry and utilising this fantastic technology that will make our customers’ and their relatives’ lives easier.
“Bluebird openPASS is a brilliant app which enhances care connectivity and communication by giving access to real time care records on your mobile phone. It also allows you to keep an eye on a friend or relative anywhere, anytime, for example if you live elsewhere in the UK or even abroad.
“Our customers’ whole care visits are recorded electronically so you can see what your loved one has had for breakfast, taken their medication and how their general wellbeing is by lunchtime.
everyLIFE is the creator of the PASSsystem, a single digital Medical Administration Record that can be updated in real time as drugs are given to residents.
The business has also launched pillPASS which links PASSsystem with LloydsPharmacy, helping care businesses minimise high risk manual medication processes.
