Berkley Care Group opens £9m care home in Buckinghamshire

Berkley Care Group has opened a £9m care home in Chartridge, Buckinghamshire.

The ‘all-inclusive’ Portobello Place, which will create 100 jobs, provides residential care, day care and respite care for up to 61 residents.

Situated in the heart of the Chilterns, the home is spread over four floors that are cut into the hillside and boasts high quality furnishing s and tasteful décor, as well as en-suite bathrooms and landscaped gardens.

Portobello Place, which has been designed to seamlessly integrate into the community, will be hosting a varied programme of events throughout the year that are open to all.

The home has a strong focus on food, thanks to its husband and wife kitchen team, with menus and ingredients designed to provide plenty of choice, and all dietary requirements and preferences catered for.

The expansive Bellingdon Bistro and bar area is the heart of the home and is an ideal space for residents to spend time with guests and fellow residents. The home also features a luxurious private dining room where residents can host friends and family members for dinner at no extra cost.
