Barclays finances NCC care home acquisitions


The Nottingham-based National Care Consortium (NCC) has purchased two care homes with the financial support of Barclays.

The Hull and Driffield homes will provide care for 96 customers.

Tanzeel Younas, Director of National Care Consortium Ltd, said: “Part of our strategic growth plan has been to expand into new areas of the country.

“When the opportunity arose to purchase Longhill Care Home in Hull and Woodlands Care Home in Driffield, we were keen to progress.

“Our ethos has always been to provide high quality care and to ingratiate ourselves with the local community and this is something we will continue to do at these new homes.”

Alan Mele, Relationship Director at Barclays, added: “We have enjoyed a long standing relationship with the business spanning twenty years.

“Tanzeel and his family have many years’ experience in the industry and we are delighted to support them with this latest purchase which will add to their current portfolio of homes.”
