She has also worked in hospitals and for Life Carers Limited, and will work with Audley across its South England residences.

Thompson commented: “It’s never been more important for older people to have the support they need in their own homes and I’m extremely glad to be starting at Audley, where the standards of service are so high.

“With the UK still in lockdown, it’s an extremely challenging time for many people and the support the Audley Care team give is completely invaluable.

“In the short time I’ve been in the role, the wonderful carers have provided a range of services from shopping, to regular care visits.

“They have all the best interests of their community customers, property owners and team members at heart and I hope to complement the team with my experience and passion from years of working with people in need of care and support.”
