SMARTair™ wireless devices provide the easiest upgrade and replacement for mechanical locks — and are just as easy to retrofit to existing premises as install from scratch. Swapping existing locks for battery-powered cylinders or escutcheons with integrated card readers is easy. “It is practical in daily life, and we can see who has been where and when. We do not have a problem with lost keys anymore.”
Dagmargården residents are issued with a tag which automatically opens their apartment door: they don’t need to turn a handle, or even to push.
Les Résidences Notre-Dame, in Geneva, has also switched to SMARTair™. Because SMARTair™ supports individually tailored authorisations, every user has access only to appropriate areas. Medical staff can enter rooms and storerooms, but residents’ credentials only open the door to their own room and common areas. Even technology novices can work the system without difficulty.
