Leading care home meals provider, apetito, is adding almost 50 new dishes to its range over the next three months.
From this week, care homes are able to offer their residents the first six new dishes in the innovative new Culinary Inspirations range.
Neil Hargreaves, Care homes Divisional Manager, said: “Our Culinary Inspirations range is a major initiative that we are unveiling over a three month period and not only brings great new choice, but it also looks to add further value into the dining experience for residents – for example we are very excited by the new additions to our Texture Modified range which launches later this month.”
To create the new dishes in “a unique approach to product development”, apetito reached out to five top chefs across the south west (whose businesses had been adversely impacted by the coronavirus), to partner with its in-house team in the creation of this very special range.
The six new dishes and their respective chefs are:
Jethro Lawrence – Head Chef Wooley Grange Hotel & Restaurant: Coronation Chicken (pictured)
Peter Vaughan – Vaughan’s Kitchen: Leek, Cheddar and Ham Tart
Henry Scott – Henry’s Bath: Chicken and Chorizo Paella
Richard Knighting – Corkage Bath: Sausage & Smoked Ham Frittata
Rob Allcock – Head Chef and Landlord, The Long Arms, South Wraxall: Smoked Haddock & West Country Cheddar Omelete
Rob Allcock: Chicken & Sweetcorn Bake
