Leading care home meals provider, apetito, has launched its new and improved pasta range as part of its Culinary Inspirations series.

Working with a new and authentic pasta supplier, apetito’s new pasta range includes favourite Italian classics such as Beef Bolognaise with Pasta, Pasta Carbonara and Macaroni Cheese, giving a delicious al dente bite and an authentic taste of Italy.

Developed by apetito’s in-house Chefs and Dietitians, the new range has been created using traditional recipes and looks set to be a popular addition to the apetito range of over 200 main meals and desserts.  The new and improved pasta range keeps its shape when cooked – whether penne, or macaroni – and as with all apetito meals, is cooked easily from frozen by care home teams.

Neil Hargreaves, Care homes Divisional Manager, said: “At apetito, we pride ourselves on delivering a product which enables care homes to deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents, achieved through a wide range of meals to suit every preference and dietary requirement.   We’ve listened to our customers who told us that they would like more choice across our pasta range and gave us some useful suggestions, which we have responded to within the development of this new range.

“We know pasta is a much-loved dish by care home residents, and our new and improved range will give our customers a greater choice of authentic and flavours.

“Through our Culinary Inspirations initiative, we are offering great new choice and adding further value into the dining experience for residents, with further innovation still to come.”

apetito’s mobile presentation suite, the apetiser, (which allows for safe, socially distanced sampling of its meals), is travelling round the UK to care homes – to book a visit to your care home or to find out more details on apetito’s Culinary Inspirations range; check out: https://www.apetito.co.uk/trust-us/ or contact 01225 569403.
