Apetito keeps flavours alive in soft-textured foods

Apetito, a nationwide specialist in catering services for care homes, will keep everybody fuelled at the Care & Dementia Show by providing samples of its hot meals and desserts to visiting care home professionals.

The company’s stand will also display dishes from its range of texture-modified food for care home residents who have difficulties with chewing and swallowing.  Apetito aims to make these soft and pureed meals appear and taste just as appetising as traditional dishes by forming them into familiar food shapes.

Visitors can also find out more about the extensive support the team offers advice on challenges like conforming to CQC regulations and legislation covering food and drink; ensuring care homes are ready for inspections at all times.
