Currently in the concept phase of desserts development, Matt has been experimenting with a variety of tray bakes and conducting trials, at apetito’s kitchens in Wiltshire.

“At apetito I have the opportunity to apply and implement what I’ve learned over the years to an entirely different environment,” Matt said. “It’s a steep learning curve and one I’m really enjoying.”

Richard Woodward, General Manager, Care Homes, said: “Matt adds further talent and creativity to our development team, and we are delighted to welcome him on board.

“It’s enormously important to us that we ensure our range of desserts is re-energised with fresh inspiration on a regular basis to give our care home customers’ something to look forward to and Matt will be helping us to do just that.”
