David McCullough has been appointed as the new CEO of Abbeyfield Society.
With a background in the voluntary sector, David joins Abbeyfield on 1 August from the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS).
Abbeyfield said David’s understanding of its model of serving local need through volunteer led services along with his successful transformation of the RVS had been key to his appointment.
Abbeyfield added: “David’s lead will help to support The Abbeyfield Society in continuing to meet the increasing future demands for suitable older persons accommodation and care.
“His compassionate appreciation of this vulnerable sector of society will strengthen the movement’s commitment to truly making time for older people, through a dedication to deliver compassionate, person centered care and support.”
