Having worked in a number of roles, from healthcare assistant, benefits advisor, mental health nurse, clinical lead and deputy manager in both the NHS and private sector, Kad has garnered an understanding of the different roles within his team, which makes him a good leader as he is able to relate to his team’s strengths, challenges and goals.
Kad’s experience and empathy, combined with his passion, ensures his reputation proceeds him. Truly part of the team, and without doubt a respected leader, Kad develops strong relationships with both residents and colleagues. He is a hands on manager – you are just as likely to see him sat in the lounge with a resident, engaging in care planning or dining with residents, as you are in his office. His door is open and he is always available to the team for support and training. He thrives on getting to know all residents, utilising that information to deliver the highest quality, individualised care.
Having worked closely with people living with dementia, acquired brain injuries and complex physical illnesses, Kad’s strong clinical background has allowed him to carve a bespoke area of specialism; clinical best practice and mental capacity. Kad’s vision for the future is hugely ambitious. He wants to ensure that the high quality, person-centred care delivered by New Care is available to everyone. By upholding these standards, and by being an ambassador, not only for the company, but for the delivery of exceptional care across the sector, Kad is determined that, in time, access to this incredible care is available to all that need it.
