Nicky has a wealth of experience in the care home sector and has worked her way up from Carer to Home Manager to Regional Quality roles.
She is instrumental in the care quality provided and works tirelessly, hands on with the team members, showing them and teaching them what good quality care looks like.
Nicky oversees all areas of quality within the home, meets regularly with the team on the floor to include them in how to go forward as an organisation and feeds back honestly in her own style with her positive personality always shining through.
She gets results because team members, along with the whole regional team buy into her and work with her to ensure actions required are carried out, knowing that it is ok to bring fun and enjoyment into their roles, thus having a positive effect on residents.
Nicky brings her unique character to a difficult role and always promotes the right message to the care teams. Her sole focus is the experience of residents and ensuring that their dignity and independence is catered for and is totally individual and person centred. She has extensive knowledge of all areas within the care home and carries out training sessions on Dining Experience, Infection Control, Care Planning and Privacy & Dignity. She also assists with writing policies and procedures and implementing them into the homes.
