Silvercrest Group founder Dr Bikram Choudhary has big plans for his business. The South Wales GP and former director of Hallmark established Silvercrest this year.
Silvercrest operates five care homes across South Wales, including a new dementia care home in Wales, which opened this year. The 33-bed Ty Nant care home in Williamstown will create 50 new jobs this autumn.
Following the home’s unveiling, Dr Bikram said: “We are investing £1 million in a new bespoke dementia care facility at Ty Nant, which will provide a much needed service in this part of Wales.
“Our ambition is to grow into a significant care home group in size and scope of services, based on our principle of creating a warm, friendly and engaging environment for our residents in homes that are an active part of the communities we serve.
“As part of this significant investment we will be bringing new jobs to the area so we are looking for high quality professional nurses and carers to join our team.”
With his strong, all-round background in care as a GP and care home director, Dr Bikram clearly has what it takes to succeed in the business, making Silvercrest one to watch for the future.
