Bright Selection are currently supporting an expanding care provider with their appointment of a Group Financial Controller.
Reporting in to the Executive team, the post holder will lead the finance function for a group of elderly nursing homes in addition to providing management support to a smaller hospitality division.

The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with the Operations team to ensure the company continues to meet its financial objectives as well as supporting the exec team in using financial information to make key commercial decisions.
They will prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports and liaise with commercial partners and financial institutions to provide information required.
They will also take an active lead in managing and developing the Finance team to include purchase and sales ledger, credit control, payroll and accounts assistants at head office and in the group’s homes.
This role requires either an ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification and experience gained within the social care sector would be highly desirable. Other essential requirements are strong leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships with commercial partners and, crucially, attention to detail.
