Hilldales care home in Ilfracombe, Devon, has made improvements following a previous report declaring it “inadequate”.
The home has been given an overall rating of “requires improvement” by the Care Quality Commission in a report published last month.
In June the home was judged to be “inadequate” for the third time in a row during a CQC inspection.
The most recent inspection still reported that safety was “inadequate”, despite caring being branded as “good”.
The other categories, effective, responsive and well-led were all rated as “requires improvement”.
Concerns over safety were put down to a inadequate risk assessments where risks were not always identified.
