Polyflor helps Anya Court home to healthcare design award victory

A combination of Polyflor’s vinyl tiles and safety flooring have been used to create a bright and welcoming atmosphere at Hallmark Care Home Group property Anya Court care home in Rugby, Warwickshire.

The home, which opened in 2014 and provides nursing, residential and dementia care for up to 70 residents.

1300 sqm of Polyflor flooring was installed by contractor Galaxy Flooring to provide stylish and safe environments for residents throughout the property’s cafés, therapy rooms, hair salons and cinema room.

The overall environment at Anya Court won it an award as Best New Care Home at the 2015 Pinders Healthcare Design Awards.

Jacqueline Farguson, design manager at Hallmark Care Homes commented: “It was vital for us to avoid a clinical look by creating a safe but homely environment for Anya Court residents that would suit their various needs. We are continually impressed with the range of attractive and fit for purpose flooring options available from Polyflor which meant we could use their products throughout this new care home and others in our portfolio.”
