Person Centred Software doubles Good and Outstanding ratings for operators

Person Centred Software, which created Mobile Care Monitoring as a solution to reduce the burden of paperwork in care homes, is scoring several successes with operators improving their CQC ratings thanks to the efficiency of its solution.

Mobile Care Monitoring combines a care app, used on an electronic device by care staff to evidence the care they deliver, and a manager’s monitoring system. The system is quick and easy to use, and has improved the quality of care in homes across the country.

Links Lodge, a care home in Blackpool, was rated as Outstanding by CQC in April this year. They believe that using Person Centred Software’s system has helped them to successfully achieve this high standard.

Karen Bradley, the registered manager of Links Lodge explains that: “Improved service quality and auditing through the very comprehensive inbuilt monitoring system has helped to facilitate well led, safer and more effective care to be delivered to all of our clients.”

Person Centred Software tracks care homes’ change in the CQC 5 key question ratings before and after using Mobile Care Monitoring. On average, the number of Outstanding and Good areas have more than doubled since care homes become users of Mobile Care Monitoring. the company states.

Links Lodge is not the only Outstanding rated care home to use Mobile Care Monitoring. WCS-Care has three homes rated Outstanding in its 12 site group.

The CEO Christine Asbury chose the Person Centred Software’s system for WCS Care as she sees the same values displayed in the system that drove Outstanding care in their homes. After a successful pilot at 2 sites, WCS Care is now rolling out Mobile Care Monitoring across their group.
