Kineton Manor Nursing Home in Kineton, Warwickshire has been rated Outstanding following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in May.
The home was rated Outstanding in two of the five CQC inspection criteria for being caring and well-led. It was rated Good for being safe, effective and responsive.
Kineton Manor Nursing Home provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 51 older people who may have dementia.
Inspectors found staff were caring and compassionate and residents were provided with safe, responsive, caring, effective and well-led care.
Acosia Nyanin, CQC’s head of inspection for Adult Social Care in the central region, said: “We were impressed with what we found during our inspection of Kineton Manor Nursing Home and inspectors were struck by how caring staff were to those using the service with feedback describing the home as marvellous, supreme and exemplary.”
“The registered manager was a role model for staff who were inspired and motivated to deliver the highest quality service. The provider, staff and relatives respected the registered manager’s professionalism and recognised their leadership was inspirational.”
The CQC also commended end-of-life care as being “personalised, caring and supportive” and highlighted staff’s efforts to encourage, activity and entertainment.
