Harnoop Atkar, chief executive of Oakland Care, said: “We are delighted to be bringing our exceptional care services to Eastbourne – building on the success of our sister home in Hastings – and we are hugely excited to welcome our first residents through the doors of Beechwood Grove in May 2018.

“At Oakland, our staff and residents become a member of our family, and we look forward to welcoming everyone into our beautiful new show suite, and later our home.”

The home will provide residential, nursing, respite and memory care with a strong focus on delivering a programme of tailored activities, each of which is designed to encourage an active, healthy and fun lifestyle.

Home manager Jeff Levine added: “We want to make Beechwood Grove an integral part of the Eastbourne community, and to be the first-choice home for anyone looking for the very best care and support.

“Keeping residents active in the local community is so important to us, and our jam-packed programme of daily activities will prove that stepping through the doors of Beechwood Grove is simply the beginning a new adventure.”
